What is Publishing Administration?

If you distribute your music on all platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc), your distributor pays you the master share of the royalties that they collected from streaming services. There are also other sources such as vinyls and CD's (physical copies) that you can collect from that count as part of the master (sound recording), but nowadays most people listen to music digitally. However, there are royalties in the underlying composition that come in different types:

Performance royalties are for when your music is played or performed anywhere (such as FM and AM radio, TV, advertisements, etc) and are sent to performing rights organizations (PROs)
Mechanical royalties are essentially the same type of royalties collected by your distributor, but some are sent to mechanical rights organizations (MROs), not just your distributor.

Note that in some countries, both of these royalties are collected by collective management organizations (CMO's)

Publishing administration services simplify this process by:

Registering your songs globally across many different MRO's, CMO's and your PRO.
Collecting all of your royalties for you, so you can focus on creating music and reinvest into your career!

Is this the right fit for you?

1. You are an artist, producer, or copyright owner and already have music on streaming platforms
2. You have registered with a PRO in your territory as a writer [here's a list of PRO's in each territory]
3. You want to make sure you collect all your royalties in the future, or you are gaining traction and want to get your money asap!

Why not just do it myself?

1. You'd need to register each song with your PRO, and with different mechanical rights organizations (MROs & CMOs) from over 100 different countries /territories where your music might be streamed to collect everything you're owed, which can be overwhelming! (it gets very complicated)
2. We can expedite the process for you (which means we can just get your money to you quicker!)
3. If you register the song with incorrect data by accident, this can delay or even prevent you from collecting all of your royalties that you're owed!
